Save a little money and travel time this March Break, and have a stay-cation right in your own city!
Ayre & Oxford have found some fun activities the whole family will enjoy close to your Edmonton apartment.
Start your March Break off with a trip to The West Edmonton Mall. Here you can enjoy countless attractions all under one roof! Spend a day at the waterpark, take the family to the indoor amusement park, or visit the aquarium. There is no need to cram all your fun into one day because many of our Edmonton apartments are less than 10 minutes from this one-stop vacation destination!
If you are looking for a more relaxed environment for your stay-cation, why not visit a museum? The recently reopened Royal Alberta Museum has something for everyone! Meet the Edmontosaurus and other dinosaur skeletons, tour the bug gallery, visit the children's gallery, or attend a family program. A day with the family at RAM is a day well spent!
Rally your family and work together to solve a puzzle! Escape rooms are a great way to bond as a family while you work together. Time Escape, a short walk or drive from many of our Edmonton apartments, offers five family friendly escape room challenges. For our residents in downtown Edmonton, GTFO Escape Entertainment also offers family friendly challenges.
The Edmonton Valley Zoo, open 364 days a year, has lots of attractions to keep families entertained. Animal talks occur on weekends and every Tuesday and Friday from fall to spring, or you can rent an educational kit and enjoy a self-guided tour around the zoo. The zoo is a short drive from any of our Edmonton apartments so visiting is easy!
A stay-cation is the perfect time to try out new restaurants. In downtown Edmonton, visit Nando's Oliver Square for chicken that is sure to please the entire family. Treat the kids to a fondue adventure at The Melting Pot in southwest Edmonton, where dinner is fun! Their annual Endless Fondue event starts in March.
Whatever you choose to do on your March Break stay-cation, Ayre & Oxford hopes you have many happy adventures!
